A complete history of Shadeland and Powell Brothers is being written circa 1860’s-1910. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Collectors of antique sleighs and buggies made by the L.C. Graves Company of Springboro between 1882 and 1915 can find help to document their carriages in the Library’s reference section. The turn-of-the-century vehicles are turning up in barns and garages around the tri-state area and owners are seeking all information available to help with restoration. A small brass plate attached to the back of the vehicles gives the name and location of the company and leads new owners to the local library.
